Voting Information

Make your voice heard on or before Tuesday, November 5.

This referendum is an important community decision. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. Early voting via absentee ballot is now available through Monday, November 4. There are three ways to cast your vote.

The three referendum questions may appear at the bottom or on the back side of your ballot. Make sure to complete your entire ballot before you submit your vote!

Early voting by mail

Absentee voting is now available through Monday, November 4. Absentee ballot applications can be requested here.

After your absentee ballot application has been submitted, a ballot will be mailed to you. Completed absentee ballots should be mailed or delivered in person to:

Absentee ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

Early voting in person

Early voting via absentee ballot will also be available in person at the Cook County auditor’s office on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through Monday, November 4.

There are additional hours for in-person early voting on:

  • Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Sunday, Nov. 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Monday, Nov. 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m

Vote in person on Election Day

Residents can vote at their respective polling locations between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5. You can find your polling location using the Secretary of State’s poll finder.

Mail Ballot Precincts

The twelve precincts listed below are mail ballot precincts with no in-person polling location. Registered voters in these precincts will be mailed a ballot to complete and return prior to Election Day. Voters in these precincts who are NOT registered to vote should request an absentee ballot or complete an absentee ballot at the auditor’s office.

Mail ballot voters can deliver their ballot in person on Election Day at the Cook County Auditor’s office between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
